First Kitemark® license for fibreglass pipes in Qatar awarded to Future Pipes

A leading manufacturer of high quality pipes for the construction industry in the Gulf region has recently achieved the prestigious honour of a Kitemark licence for its Glass-Fibre Reinforced Polymeric (GRP) pipe products, which are used for a wide variety of applications, including industrial cooling, power generation, drinking water networks and desalination industries.

Future Pipe Industries is a part of the Future Pipe Group (FPG) and manufactures high performance, anti-corrosive pipe systems for oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, desalination and civil industries. First Kitemark for company in Qatar for fibreglass pipes

This is the first Kitemark licence to be awarded by BSI Product Services to a company in Qatar for fibreglass pipes, and means the standards of production at Future Pipe Industries conform to an international target, including ASTM standards. BSI Product Services scheme manager Andy Butterfield and senior engineer Jim Norman were on hand in Doha to witness and verify the product testing.
